Directions to this stop: Exit San Antonio National Cemetery and take a right on Paso Hondo St.  Cross Monumental St. and travel 1/2 block to entrance to Odd Fellows Cemetery.  PARK AND WALK the grounds using the Independent Order of Odd Fellows San Antonio Lodge No.

This cemetery occupies six acres of land originally purchased from the Alamo Masonic Lodge in 1855. A sexton lived on the cemetery property until about 1950. Notable burials include Captain Sam Walker, Indian fighter; Otto Zirkel, one of the leading monument manufacturers of the city; and George Holmgren, Alamo Iron Works founder.
