"Líderes de La Comunidad" mural

Líderes de La Comunidad ("Leaders in the Community") This mural is intended to serve as a celebration of the rich history that is present in our city’s Westside. The concept was to create a “mirror” for the community that encourages the awareness and acknowledgement of the various individuals that spend their lives working for their community, as well as important neighborhood landmarks like the "La Gloria" Service Station. High profile figures such as Rudy "Diamond" Garcia, Emma Tenayuca, and Trinidad Sanchez, Jr. are featured in the mural and accompanied by everyday residents.
