Cassiano Homes Murals

The Cassiano Homes were built in 1953 by the San Antonio Housing Authority as a public housing community for families. The property consists of 499 total units in two-story buildings throughout several blocks of the Westside. As may be noted when driving through the community, the sides of the buildings are adorned with murals painted by the Community Cultural Arts Organization.
