Herbolaria "La India"

An "herbolaria" ("air-bo-LA-ria") is a traditional herbal store that carries herbs, plants, and natural ingredients for treatments, reflecting the local culture’s heritage of natural healing. In addition, the business sells religious icons, oils, and other goods.  The Westside of San Antonio includes a rich history of herboleria and folk medicine, as many community residents were healers and/or had family members that were recognized as healers.
